West Bengal DA – At last Bengal govt. takes the decision for Govt Employees Salary Hike.
West Bengal DA – Now the West Bengal DA case went to the Supreme Court. On May 20, 2022 the HC had directed the state Govt. to pay the pending DA within 3 months. Due to which the government employees of the state will have to pay DA at the rate of 31%. But after the expiry of that period, as the DA was not given, a case of contempt of court was filed in the HC.
Good news for Government Employees, Retirement age increased
The judgment of the single bench was upheld by the division bench of Justice Harish Tandon and Justice Rabindranath Samanta of the High Court. As a result, the state government will have to settle the DA dues of the employees within the next 3 months.
West Bengal DA new update.
Challenging that order, a case has been filed in the Supreme Court. The matter is likely to come up for hearing at the Supreme Court on November 7.
Suvendu Adhikari, leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly said, “So, they have moved the Supreme Court and I feel that the state government will be defeated there as well as it had in the Calcutta High Court and before that at the State Administrative Tribunal”. Till the time the report was filed there was no reaction from the ruling TMC on this cards or West Bengal DA for Govt. employees.
