WB DA arrears – What is the future of WB Govt. employees?

During the hearing of this case, the state government employees complained that the state government is not giving DA arrears despite the directions given by the High Court and SAT. According to BJP leader Shamik Bhattacharya, the state government is now bankrupt.

In the words of Shamik Bhattacharya, “The Chief Minister has complained that the Central Government does not believe in the federal structure. It is not true. The Central Government has released funds. It is trying to maintain good relations with the states, the federal structure is in order. And the Trinamool Congress is criticizing the Central Govt., instead of doing that give DA to state government employees”.
