TCS has proposed to call its employees to office from the month. TCS is said to have a estimated number of 6 lakh employees working under its surveillance.

Who will be called at the office:-

In contrary to this proposal made by TCS, initially all employees will not be called to the office for work. Only seniors or the top level employees will be called to the office,for only three days in a week. And for the remaining two days, the employees will enjoy the facility of work from home as before.

In relation to the improvement in the situation of COVID-19 pandemic, most of the IT companies have started welcoming their employees (Salary Hike) to the office. Only seniors are allowed to go to office?:-

As said before not every employees will be called at first. To be precise initially, only 50,000 top level employees will be welcomed to office, which is only for three days in a week. And for the remaining two days, they will continue the work from home facility as before. Tata Consultancy Services MD i.e, Rajesh Gopinathan stated that from the month of April, the senior associates of the company will begin coming to the office according to their scheduled timing. The number of employees to be called to the office will gradually increase as time passes. He also informed the other remaining employees that by the middle of this year, that is, by June-July , about (80 percent) of the employees will start working from the office.(Salary Hike).

For the time being , Managing Director Rajesh Gopinathan also told that TCS will increase the salary of its employees by 6-8 percent for the financial year 2022-23, following the previous financial year plan. (Salary Hike)

A recent report states that TCS has appointed 35,209 new employees in the last quarter of Financial Year 2021-22 i.e. from January to March. It is said is be the highest ever recruitment done in a single quarter by TCS. And, in the last financial year, 1,03,546 new employees have got jobs in the company. It’s also a record till date. And thus, the total number of employees in TCS has reached 5,92,195.(Salary Hike).
