Employee DA hike:- Dearness Allowance to be Increased By 4%, employees will get salary plus Rs.8000. Know more:-
Earlier, the dearness allowance of the employees was increased by 4% in Uttar Pradesh by the UP government. (Employee DA hike) In addition to that, they are getting the benefit of 38 percent dearness allowance equal to that of the central government. Now the employees of Housing Development Council will be availed with DA at the rate of 38 percent. Also, hopefully we will have a chance to see an increase of DA from Rs 800 to Rs 8000. This allowance will be effective from July 2023 onwards.
Development under 8 City Challenge Plan :-
A meeting was held by the Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council on the basis of which decision was taken regarding 8 City Challenge Plan and the Ayodha Scheme as well .Under this, the Central Governament will give a grant of thousands of rupees . Moreover, to get Rs 1000 crore, the housing department will have to make changes in this scheme. 15% green area can be increased to 23%.

Apart from the 8 City Challenge Plan, many other proposals have also been approved in the meeting as well . The Board also approved the plot allotment policy for Math, Charitable Trust and Religious Institution. Additional Housing Commissioner and Secretary Neeraj Shukla said that now plots will be allotted for Math, Charitable Trust and religious institution. (Employee DA hike)

According to this policy, the rate of plot allotted for Math, Charitable Trust will be one and a half times higher than the rate of residential plot along with, 12 percent freehold fee to be added to its cost. And in the case of a corner plot, it will be necessary to pay 10 percent additional fee.

Under Indian Trust Act 1882 and Indian Companies Act 2013, allotment of plot to charitable trust and religious institution registered for more than 3 years for NPOs ( Not for profit Organisation. Also the founder members of the institutions are honored with the Bharat Ratna Padma Award, then given priority in the allotment of plots. (Employee DA hike)
