DA increased – Government will increase DA and HRA soon. DA is a basic right of every employee. DA is a cost of living adjustment that the Govt. pays to public sector employees. The facility of DA is also for the pensioners. DA is calculated as a percentage of basic salary to curb the effect of inflation.

DA of the government employees increase twice a year. From July 2022, central employees’ DA increased by a huge score. From then, central government employees are getting 38% DA.
Next amendment in DA will happen in January next year. And there’s a chance of increasing the DA by 4%.
