DA Increased – The controversy over DA Arrears is currently one of the most talked about issues across India. Out of the 29 states across the country, agitations are underway over DA arrears of employees, while dearness allowances of state government employees are increasing in some states. The C.M of the state gives gift of increasing the DA by 8% to the state government employees in the occasion of New Year. The CM had said in a press conference at the end of December, 2022 that the DA increase would benefit 1,04,600 regular employees and 80,800 pensioners.
Now the state Govt. employees and pensioners will get whooping 12% DA. The Chief Minister said that the 12% DA increase would put an additional burden of Rs.120 crore on the state government every month and Rs 1,440 crore on an annual basis.
Central government had increase the DA rate of the employees by 3%. DA of Government employees increase from 31% to 38% in 2022.
The announcement of DA increase has taken Honorable Chief Minister another step up of honor. The announcement of increasing the DA is a moment of praise from the employees.
The DA of employees and pensioners of the state Tripura has increased from 8% to 20%. The C.M of Tripura, Manik Saha said, “Despite shortage of resources, the government has revised the salary structures to give benefits to the lakhs of employees and their families”.
