DA arrears to be given in 3 instalments, salary hike for Govt. Employees.

DA arrears – Government employees should not lose hope on getting pending arrears in their account. However, contrary to previous reports, the fresh media reports are hinting that the Dearness Allowance arrears might be given in 3 installments instead.

From employees to pensioners are also waiting for 7th Pay Commission update. As per reports, the Dearness Allowance arrears of employees at Level-3 can be estimated between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. For Level-13 can be estimated between Rs 1, 44, 200 to Rs 2, 18, 200. For Level-14 can be estimated between Rs 1, 44, 200 to Rs 2, 18, 200.

DA arrears – Big update on Dearness Allowance.

Last month, the central government announced to increase the Dearness Allowance (7th Pay Commission) of the central Govt. employees. Dearness Allowance of central Govt. employees was increased from 34% – 38%.

This allowance is paid on top of basic salary. This new Dearness Allowance rate will be implemented from July 1, 2022. With the announcement of Dearness Allowance hike, the question arises as to when the 18-month arrears of Dearness Allowance will be paid. Now as per recent reports, Dearness Allowance dues may be paid in three installments. Suppose the minimum salary of one central employee is Rs 18000, he/she will get Rs 4320+3240+4320 Rs 11,880 as arrears.

In this, according to the level-1 basic pay scale range 18000 to 56900, the central employee with minimum grade pay will be Rs 4320 for the first installment from January to July 2020. Keep visiting our website to know more.
