Pay Commission – The payment of 18 months pending DA is likely to be released in a few days. The arrears of DA from January 2020 to June 2021 is pending.
Shiv Gopal Mishra says, the dues of employees at Level-1 range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. At Level-13 and Level-14 will have arrears of Rs 1, 44, 200 to Rs 2,18,200 in hands.

DA is reviewed biannually. It gets reviewed once in every 6 months on the basis of the cost-of-living index. For the central Govt. employyes, 7th pay commission Dearness Allowance calculation such as follows
DA % = (Average of AICPI (Base Year 2001=100) for the past 12 months -115.76)/115.76) *100
Every time a new salary structure is rolled out by a pay commission, the pension for retired employees of the public sector is also revised.
7th pay commission – DA hike 38% in this state.
Level 1 basic pay scale (for central Govt. employees) range is Rs 18000 to 56900. The employee with basic pay scale Rs 56,000 will get a DA arrear of 3 months (Rs13,656 + Rs10,242 + Rs13,656)= Rs 37,554.
7th pay commission 18 months DA arrear:-
For January 2020-June 2020 it would be Rs 4,320-13,656.
For July 2020-December 2020 it would be Rs 3,240-10,242.
For January 2021-June 2021 it would be Rs 4,320-13,656.
DA The calculations:-
i) The calculations of January 2020-June 2020 would be (4% of 144200) X6 = Rs 34,608
ii) The calculations of July 2020-December 2020 would be (3% of 144200) X6 = Rs 25,956
iii) The calculations of January 2021-June 2021 would be (4% of 144200) X6 = Rs 34,608
TOTAL Rs 95,172/-.
As per sources, a meeting can be held on 18th November, 2022 about the arrears of 18 months. After that, there is a possibility of payment of arrears. There is still hope for the central Govt. employyes and the pensioners about the pending payments. Keep visiting our website to know more.
