7th Pay Commission Salary hike – Central government employees are about to get a good news in the beginning of 2023. It is also claimed that work is going on with the file of fitment factor. The decision could be made public by the end of 2022. Salary is going to increase at the basic level.

7th Pay Commission Salary hike – Govt. employees’ salary is going to increase by the end of 2022?!

Central government employees get 4 percent DA hike in September, 2022. Central government employees get 34% Dearness allowance earlier. But from September 2022, they are getting 38% DA.

Under the 7th Pay Commission, employees have been demanding to increase the fitment factor. As per sources, the central government is considering increasing the fitment factor by 2023. At present central government employees get a basic salary of Rs.18, 000.

Currently central government employees get 2.57 times of it. They are demanding to get 3.68 times of it.

Increasing the fitment factor by 3 times will give a good increase in salary. The basic salary would be 21,000/- .

Central Government employees will get different allowances. In that case the salary will be Rs21,000X3=63,000 rupees. Salary also includes provident fund, gratuity. EPF and gratuity are linked to basic salary and DA.
