7th Pay Commission – Good news for government employees! As per reports, the DA arrears issue will be discussed by the cabinet soon. So, it can be assumed that the government will clear the outstanding Dearness Allowance.
Central government employees will get 7th Pay Commission’s DA arrears of 18 months from the period of pandemic till now. The employees have appealed to the government several times for settlement of DA arrears.
But even thousands of their requests, Govt. did not response. Finance Ministry clarified last year that the arrears would not be paid.

Just when government employees had given up all hope of DA arrears, the possibility of the government clearing DA came up. This news of clearing DA dues has rekindled hope among the employees.
